I love that the Tremont Farmer's Market is so close to my house. Lots of yummy treats there!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun event.
I loooove the farmers market on Detroit in Avon (right by Avon Oaks!). They have the best produce on the (further) westside!
ReplyDeleteI like both the Tremont Market and Shaker Square. Tremont for the chefs demos, and Shaker because it's close to my house and my two favorite poultry purveyors are there.
ReplyDeletethe westside market of COURSE! :)
ReplyDeletesounds like an awesome event for a great cause, especially since i ya know, have arthritis... eep.

ReplyDeleteI like the Medina Farmer's Market - it's really grown and there are a lot of vendors (plus I live close). The have a BUNCH of local organic and sustainable farmers, like Sol Soleil Farm
ReplyDeletehttp://soleilsolfarm.com/ which is my favorite local farmer. They provide fresh free range eggs, baked bread, jams, honey, and seasonal organic produce.

My favorite local farm is actually Aufdenkampe Family Farm out in Vermilion. EVERYTHING they sell at the stand is grown and/or made from things grown on the farm. (ex: honey made from hives on the far; jam made by grandma Aufdenkampe from berries grown on the farm) They carry all the seasonal produce that Ohio can offer at VERY reasonable prices and it's family owned/operated.

I LOVE the West Side Market -- the chaotic atmosphere always puts a smile on my face! Too bad I can't eat anything from there (or really, anywhere) for the next few days. Wisdom teeth pulled = liquid diet.
ReplyDeleteWow, so many great markets. Thanks for sharing your favorites, I learned about some new ones. This proves no matter where you live in the Cleveland area, there's no excuse to not shop locally!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to lucky commenter #1, I'll contact you directly about the tickets.
Well OBVIOUSLY West Side Market is my all time fav, but I've been really digging the Kamm's Corner market on Sundays!
ReplyDeleteTremont Farmer's Market and West Side Market!
ReplyDeleteMy wedding is at Avon Oaks in TWO MONTHS!
Portland Farmers Market in Portland Oregon is my favorite because they have the freshest produce around.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe I missed that awesome event. Will there be another outing next year? If yes, I'll book tickets ASAP.
